@wmnjoya Mt. Kenya persons are funny, she will deliberately skips kikuyu presidencies . A calculated move. She “forgets” 2007/8 when life became unbearable( PEV)( Kibaki). Life got horrible, many died, families social fabric destroyed, livelihoods brought to standstill.. Uhuru’s covid.

The last time I remember Kenyan life being this hard, economically and socially, was in the 90s. I never imagined we'd go through this again in my lifetime. The politics were incoherent as they are now, we were struggling economically, and relationships were suffering in confusion and strange types of conflicts. The only difference between then and now is clarity about where the problem is coming from. In those days, I didn't understand what was happening to us. I thought it was just Africa being Africa. Now I see the political and philosophical problems a little more clearly. The Kenyan state is structurally kaput and needs to be replaced.

Where is the embarrassment?
Kenya has been invited alongside Brazil, India & South Korea. This is great accolade for Kenya. South Africa attended some G7 meets NOT every G7 meet so this is great for Kenya besides we have France Africa summit in Kenya in June.
If Ethiopia or Ghana was invited in place of South Africa i bet you would have been here screaming how kenya has lost relevance in Africa .
