@flishy3 @HollowLeif - on every HE1 games it's like they build a map and make a level around it, on HE2 games they build a game then put a mad below, the stage doesn't feel part of the environment but instead just plastered all over the place just like how it happened on Frontiers

This might be a hot take but Shadow Generations looks much worse visually than Sonic Generations. Sonic Gens has a more consistent and striking artstyle despite having both modern and classic stages, ShadGens just looks like the original maps with HD textures.
