I really love this ❤️ If you ever buy one in or near Oxford I would love to know. I use my home as a church and to support young people escaping child sexual exploitation. As a way of giving back the young people and I regularly go out with food for the homeless and just sit with them but I’d really like somewhere to offer them a roof over their heads. I’d like to have a building to use as a church, for feeding, educating and supporting the local community etc. My home is not enough and of course I can’t have random homeless people stay for obvious reasons that’s just not wise. So should you ever purchase locally that would be amazing

I'm buying a church. I’ve made a cash offer of £225,000 to purchase this church, which was about to close and be sold off to developers. I'm fed up with driving past all these churches in the UK that used to thrive, support the community, and feed the homeless. Now, just look at these beautiful church buildings. So many are boarded up, closed down, with developers queueing up to profit from converting them into flats. I simply can't accept that a building built to glorify Jesus for generations can be turned into something solely for profit. So I've placed an offer on a church in my hometown. My plan is to buy it and offer it completely free of charge, with zero rent, to a church willing to worship Jesus here and serve others. What do you think of this idea?

Today, I had the honour of visiting the Nigerian High Commission, London and engaging in a very important and productive conversation with the Acting Nigerian High Commissioner to the United Kingdom, Mohammed Maidugu. During our discussion, I raised several urgent issues affecting Nigerians living across the UK, concerns that I hear about daily through messages and direct engagement with our communities. I strongly emphasised: • The urgent need for the establishment of a second Nigerian consulate in the UK to ease the overwhelming pressure on the London mission. 
• The serious backlog and ongoing challenges Nigerians face in renewing their passports, which continues to affect thousands. 
• The welfare and protection of Nigerian citizens currently in prisons across the UK. 
• The need for stronger support for Nigerian children in the custody of social services and ensuring their cultural and national identity is preserved. 
• The importance of providing structured support to Nigerian families who lose loved ones in the UK, especially during difficult and vulnerable moments. 
• The need for the High Commission to host quarterly town hall meetings to maintain open communication, transparency, and direct engagement with the Nigerian community. I am encouraged that he listened attentively to these concerns and acknowledged the challenges. He spoke about ongoing and upcoming changes aimed at making life easier for Nigerians in the UK and reaffirmed the commitment of the High Commission to better serve and support its citizens. This conversation is a step forward, but we must continue to advocate, engage, and hold our institutions accountable to ensure Nigerians abroad receive the dignity, services, and representation they deserve. The work continues.
