Today I interviewed a number of candidates for a full-stack developer role. Then it got to a particular candidate... Everything was fine at first, he gave a good introduction about himself and what he's done. @fhinkel Nah, let's be real: If you just copy-paste AI code without reviewing it, you're not a developer anymore you're basically a fancy, expensive IDE with feelings

If you spend your day copy-pasting code from a chat window into your IDE, you aren't an engineer. You’re a human middleware.

@mrchidipascal Nah, with real experience you should be able to knock out simple, clean designs without needing a full thesis every single time.

Without a design thesis, you’re just an amateur designer.
