Two modern top 8s last week after returning to the grind, one with UR twin one with Necro. Feels good to be back! I don't really agree with the way some lists are being built and it seems like the strongest decks are underplayed (affinity is busted) but magic is fun @fireshoes

@SproutsMtg Well done! Interesting choice to skip Sheoldred. What was your reasoning? Did the deck ever feel short on lifegain?

Hi, my name is Julian from Switzerland, and I’m currently looking for a team to test with for Pro Tour Las Vegas. At my last Pro Tour I finished 10-5-1. My team and I developed the Grixis Scam deck, which ended up with a 71% win rate at the event and later won the EUL Finals two weeks after the PT. I’m looking for a motivated group to work on testing, deckbuilding, and metagame preparation for the tournament.

This time I showed no mercy. Sad that I didn't have room in my schedule to play the Modern Qualifier, but took down the Modern Challenge as a consolation prize. Replays are off, and I don't remember the matchups, but the finals were against Eldrazi Tron. @fireshoes

Just lost the most won finals ever. I just had to not do anything, but I forgot about the Vexing Bauble, and paid life to try to kill him on the spot, when I clicked the OK button to draw 20, I remembered it, but it was too late. @fireshoes

Good MU: Boros, Eldrazi, Ketra Blink, LE Mid: Titan, Dimir, Broodscale, Prowess Bad: Zoo, Belcher An alternative Draw Engine would be nice to further raise consistency. We did many experiments with Ketramose etc., but Mono B was performing the best.

After grinding RCQs with Mono-Black Necrodominance, I didn’t get the invite—but had a blast and racked up multiple Top 8s with an incredibly powerful deck. 💀 Secret tech: target your opponent with Avarice—insta-win with Bowmasters or Sheoldred. Free Primer in Comments.
