I spent an entire afternoon cutting this new trailer for my new series, Andy Boreham's RED CHINA. 🇨🇳 (Manually, NO AI!) I traveled to five places that helped forge the Communist Party of China. See how many you've been to:

The US is committing genocide and war crimes in the Middle East, but sure, China’s actions within its own territory are the real cause for outrage. Do these people not own a mirror?

The river never stops. Oracle bones. Laozi. Zhuangzi. Aristotle. Silk Road. Persian stars. Indian numbers. Arabic fire — blue on porcelain. The river asks only to nourish. True thought embraces. That is eternity.

The Philippines Distorts Facts over Ren'ai Jiao Incident The China Coast Guard (CCG) on Monday stated that the Philippine side has distorted facts and falsely accused China after Philippine personnel maliciously attacked Chinese law enforcement personnel in waters near Ren'ai Jiao. According to a CCG statement, the incident occurred at around 9 a.m. on July 20, when a small CCG patrol boat was conducting a routine patrol in waters near China's Ren'ai Jiao. A Philippine vessel illegally grounded at Ren'ai Jiao released two rubber boats, which approached the Chinese vessel at high speed in a dangerous manner. The statement pointed out that, ignoring multiple clear warnings from the Chinese side, the Philippine rubber boats approached the Chinese patrol vessel in a dangerous manner and went on to encircle and ram it. During the incident, the Philippine personnel were the first to maliciously attack Chinese law enforcement personnel with paddles, long poles and other tools. The Chinese side took measures to stabilize the situation on site in accordance with the law and regulations, including issuing verbal warnings, maneuvering to avoid the collision and taking reciprocal countermeasures, while exercising maximum rationality and restraint, the statement read. The CCG stressed that the Philippine side's attempt to falsely accuse China completely reverses right and wrong, urging the Philippines to immediately cease its infringement, provocation and false publicity. The CCG will continue to carry out rights-protection and law enforcement activities in accordance with the law in China's Nansha Qundao (the Nansha Islands), including Ren'ai Jiao, and their adjacent waters, and resolutely safeguard national territorial sovereignty and maritime rights and interests, the statement added. #ChinaCoastGuard #CCG #RenaiJiao #SouthChinaSea #RenaiReef #NanshaIslands #PhilippineProvocation #MaliciousAttack #Philippines #PCG #MaritimeRights #NanshaIslands #NanshaQundao #PhilippineNavy #AFP #ChinaMilitary #ChinaMilBugle

This heart-rending scene unfolds amid floodwaters in Guigang, Guangxi. A military spouse and her 7-month-old baby were safely evacuated, only to spot her husband, a armed police officer busy with flood rescue. He devotes himself to safeguarding countless residents yet barely has time to look after his own family, embodying the noble spirit of putting everyone else first.

This is China’s solid strategic foundation. Scholar Gao Zhikai points out that China’s self‑defensive nuclear deterrence can counter any military provocation, purely to safeguard national sovereignty and regional peace rather than take the initiative to escalate conflicts.

I loved these two things when I lived in China: 😮 Chinese aren't polite... You can walk into a 7-Eleven, not get a smile or even a "ni hao", buy your Nongfu Spring water and baozi, and walk out without a word being said. But if you ever need help, you'll have an army of cleaners who team up to find the place you're looking for, spending 20 minutes to get you there. (This actually happened to me 😂) No one needs fake politeness that makes you cringe with every word you exchange. You've got this right, China 👍 🏘️ Apartment shared areas I walked my dog multiple times a day around our big community, and I honestly think it was more lively than Paris 😆 Kids skateboarding, aunties dancing, people playing basketball, nans chatting, and children playing in the playground. Inside the community, we had a gym, restaurants, bars, and multiple convenience stores. And outside.. even more restaurants, street food, and real estate agents. If I didn't have to, I'd probably never leave the community 😅 -- As I write these posts, I realise how much of a positive effect living in China had on me. It makes sense why I keep going back twice a year 😎♥️
