@reinhardNFL I’d argue that it is more valuable having an average to above average starting QB on a rookie contract than an elite non-qb on a rookie contract. That’s why I have no problem reaching on a QB that you like enough to take in the first round. Tua/Purdy make more than any non-QB

I articulated before the draft that I felt Sanders (consensus board #22) might be worth taking at 2 (lol), but that it would be a reach.
Taking Dart (consensus board #49) at 5 would have been one of the biggest reaches years.

@AaronQuinn716 I wouldn’t mind him getting a shot at offensive coordinator if Joe Brady leaves. The pass game should be good with Josh no matter what, and he is one of the brightest position coaches I’ve ever worked with.

Sean is a defensive minded coach who has allowed each defensive play caller to add their own wrinkle to the defense. I never really thought the micromanager label was fair. He has a vision and it’s hard to argue with the results so far

McDermott has often been labeled a micromanager. But we see example after example of him allowing his staff to put their own fingerprints on how the team operates. Kromer is another example. A vet coach who seemingly has been given full control over the OLine and run game coordination. We discussed this point on the O Line preview this week.
