@henrywinter Same referee, identical outcome for Kevin Schade against West Ham on Monday. Andy Madley only seems to make ultra safe decisions.

“The referee’s call of no penalty to Arsenal was checked and confirmed by VAR – with the contact from Keane on Havertz deemed to be minimal.” PGMO. Minimal? But meaningful. #ARSEVE

Havertz through on goal, about to shoot. Keane treads on Havertz’s foot, clearly brings him down. Pen not given, VAR should have intervened, Havertz rightly bemused. #ARSEVE

@Refsplaining You hang this off a manager who's not once criticised a referee this season and has openly acknowledged in post match comments the difficult job referees do. Classy.

🗣️ “I despise the culture around the referees that have made mistakes.” “It takes unbelievable courage to referee a match on a stage like that.” “You know the ones it has happened to… Ridiculed. Persecuted. I think it’s disgusting.” One manager, one day, maybe

@paulsevern7 We have a history of protesting - 1967, David Webb, Ron Noades. We just are sensible enough to know the difference between when someone is screwing us or when the football isn't working out as we'd like.

The angst at #nffc, Celtic, Spurs and West Ham makes you realise how different fanbases are at newer "model" top flight clubs. Brighton, Brentford & Bmouth are like US franchises. The fans have tolerance of bad runs. Some support other clubs and would leave w/o PL football. 1/2

@paulsevern7 What on earth are you talking about? I sit at the Gtech every week with the majority around me having 30+ years support. We are as far away from a US style franchise as you can possibly get.

@jeetusach @TheTurners_71 @WarBoyNUFC Brentford have a one year club option. Brentford have never indicated or set a price. The goalposts have never moved. Other than that, you're spot on

This is why Isak’s case ≠ Wissa’s 👇 1.The promise to Wissa was written down. 2.Newcastle made a reasonable bid — exactly what Brentford asked for. 3.LiVARpool came with a low-ball, even below media numbers 😭 Crystal clear. #NUFC

@InigoAmethyst @NUFCBrace Not correct. Larsen has an injury. Brentford set a price, NU met it. Brentford changed the price, NU met it again. Brentford changed the price for a third time. They've unsettled the player themselves.

So obvious that so far Liverpool never intended to negotiate even close to our valuation of Isak. They hoped he'd cause enough trouble and we'd want him gone and accept their low offer. If he doesnt get this move theyre the ones who have screwed him over, not Newcastle #nufc #lfc

Sorry, but how poorly advised has Isak been? Unbelievably bad. Whatever you think of our Saudi owners, they WILL NOT be embarrassed by anyone on the world stage. The most ruthless business people in the world. ISAK is going NOWHERE for less than £150m. That statement from him has done him more harm than good.

@Evans_Bach @asty909s @LfcLee08 @fantasyfooty But the question would be is how effective will Wissa be without Mbuemo? I thought Mbuemo brought the best out of Wissa. Therefore, I think wissa has peaked. So selling him for max amount now is the best thing. Invest the money wisely.

@Roddygra @asty909s @LfcLee08 @fantasyfooty Getting almost impossible at this level. Need players who can play every week, they're expensive and other clubs pay more that we have. That's why it's important to keep players good players we've developed for as long as possible or get best value.

@Evans_Bach @asty909s @LfcLee08 @fantasyfooty It is but your scouting network is far better than Newcastles. But the problem is that Newcastle can also carry a player that does not want to be there better than you. You need to sell to buy. It is what you have done very very well. I think Brentford is a model club.

@Roddygra @asty909s @LfcLee08 @fantasyfooty What's more important, to be seen as a club that develops players (that's well known already) or to go into a Prem season with one sitriker who doesn't have much experience In current circumstances our need is greater than Newcastle's.

@Evans_Bach @Chebs4377 Striker who’s 29, averages 11 league goals a season in prem I think £25 million is fair. Last season would probs inflate fee to £30-£35

@Arma1990 @Chebs4377 We have one striker at the moment. Losing him now is as valuable to us as you losing Isak. If we have to take a hit to make sure we stay in the league, so be it. If we can get someone in that we're happy with, a deal might be done but replacing a 19 goal striker isn't easy.

@Chebs4377 @Arma1990 Probably not but if you think you can reduce the fee by offering us a kid on loan who'd probably get a few games in our B team, you're mistaken. It's just the normal disrespect shown to smaller Prem clubs, we're used to it.

@Arma1990 @Chebs4377 How much would you be selling a Newcastle striker who'd just scored 19 goals? £25m you think?

@Evans_Bach @Chebs4377 Even if you meant £120 combined it’s a stretch. You do realise Mbeumo isn’t your player so isn’t your main striker anymore If you think Wissa is worth 50 million you’re clearly deluded
