@CraigHope_DM @Chebs4377 The most frustrating thing about his game is when he is not on the ball during a counterattack. There's no endeavor to get forward. He just strolls forward like it's not his job. He reads the game well when the ball is at his feet and never else.

Fwiw, I went through countless Stuttgart heatmaps and this was a typical average position - zero chance he plays that deep for Newcastle without Howes instructions.

I’m going to say it now so we are all clear. I’m not calling for Eddie Howe to be sacked because he remains the best manager for the job and has over achieved for four years. My view hasn’t changed on that.
Yes this is difficult and he’s under huge pressure now but he deserves a chance to rebuild the team in the summer and go again. And I’m very confident he will bring more success in the future.
