@arghavan_salles I worked in engineering org with no senior women or minorities, ordered to promote women. Woman was promoted who’s cute, petite, giggly, had familial relationship to the Org lead, and no competancies despite years in the org. Sent message they are all the same, promote eye candy

@benners36 @arghavan_salles But I think part of the point, at least, is that people develop professional opportunities through their social spaces. And this is a social space in a state (Idaho) where wealthy people are getting tax breaks… the question also is— what is our social contract to one another?
