Fedora Linux (Red Hat), is discussing the specifics of how they plan to implement Age Verification into their Linux distribution. The currently supported approach, by the Fedora Project Leader (a Red Hat employee), appears to be officially adopting Apple's API regarding Age Verification. The law says "providers of information technology products" are liable. The sections I mentioned above specifically target "Providers of Internet application stores and operating systems for devices". That would mean the OS and the app store (if it has any). But what is an OS or even what is an app store? Is GitHub an app store? I can download compiled binaries from there. At the end of the day this was a law written by dumb politicians and AT BEST they can order the DNS of these softwares websites, or they can keep issuing fines that will never be paid.

@EvecBit @Waffl3x Who is legally liable? Linux? It's not an OS, just a kernel. SystemD? Not an OS. Distributions would indeed be liable as they do pack and distribute the OS....if they want to do business in Brazil, that is. Good luck chasing distributions without HQ in the country.
