Hispanic & Latino communities are more representative of our entire communities than using a term that a small percentage who identify with it, like “Latinx,” use. Many do not identify with the term. The more our communities can see themselves in your message, the better.

During the holidays, we give with intention. This year, we donated books to middle school students in the Mujeres Latinas mentoring program. Author Ivonne Quesada, who published her first book at 13, personally dedicated each one. Giving is about planting seeds for future authors
