Following a recent Hospitality & Tourism Forum meeting with @MichealMartinTD @LeoVaradkar & @cathmartingreen EII continue to engage with @DeptEnterprise & @DeptCulturelRL on priorities for Events Companies:
- CRSS style payments
- Extension of COVID-19 supports into 2021

As we approach the first anniversary of the industry shutdown, we are asking Event Companies & Sole Traders for input into the latest EII anonymous survey. This survey will guide the EII's campaign for fair & equal support.

EII met with @RobertTroyTD yesterday in relation to the new CBAS Scheme. We highlighted the fact that this scheme does not meet the needs of many of our members-more funding is needed to keep our businesses alive. We will keep pushing on behalf of the industry.
English

EII are very disappointed with the level of funding announced in the new CBAS fund. The max support of €8k will do little to help companies in our struggling industry. Tag your local T.D.-we need meaningful support and engagement, we need it now.

With physical business events being forced to hibernate by Govt, the CRSS MUST BE EXTENDED to ensure credit is available to our members to get them through this period.
