Working together to #restore landscapes and livelihoods 💚🌍

Today, we engaged with the government, NGOs, partners, and the Narok community to build a shared vision for the #RestoreAfrica program. World Vision Kenya is the lead implementing organization for the Global EverGreening Alliance's #RestoreAfrica Program, which aims to restore over 250,000 hectares and support 250,000 households in Kenya. In Narok County, #RestoreAfrica aims to: ✅Restore over 77,508 hectares of land ✅Nurture 3,012,360 trees through planting & Farmer Managed Natural Regeneration (#FMNR) ✅Support over 50,206 farming families Chief Officer, Environment, Energy, Water, Climate Change, and Natural Resource, NAROK COUNTY GOVERNMENT, William Tumanka, emphasized the importance of collaboration to protect nature from further destruction through land restoration initiatives.
