Airdrops aren’t a business model. Discord “engagement” isn’t a KPI. VC money isn’t product-market fit. And speculation isn’t adoption. Most Layer 1s are burning through their last dollars pretending this isn’t true. You don’t fix structural failure with another token campaign. You don’t patch over irrelevance with influencer threads. And you definitely don’t scale a protocol people don’t need. The playbook is broken. → Print tokens → Buy ads → Bribe users → Hope for a bull market It worked once. It won’t work again. The next generation of crypto won’t be louder.
