@StarIsConfused @doggsul Toby adding an unobtainable fusion in 2021 to show he’d have to make 1 fusion later doesn’t contradict the fact that 2 more chapters came out in 2025 and didn’t add to the system at all.
Making the TwistedSword obtainable in Ch7 wouldn’t mean the system wasn’t abandoned

I think that Deltarune's biggest flaw is its lack of commitment toward gameplay mechanics and smaller aspects of the narrative
target mechanic abandoned, item fusion abandoned, castle town dojo neglected, not enough special ACTs, no new character skills/spells, no chapter parity

Having 1 unobtainable fusion in Ch2 (4+ years ago btw) to show there’d be 1 Toby *has* to add later doesn’t contradict the fact that they could’ve added more now, but didn’t

@Brianycus @CONEY Lore =/= plot, and as someone who thought the game was a good 7-8/10 I have to say the actual story of the game felt pretty barebones.
A lot of franchises have been having a rough time differentiating lore from plot, and RE9 falls into that pitfall a little more than I’d like

Did you ever play an Resident Evil game besides RE7 and RE8? Because while I agree with some of what you wrote, RE9 delivered a love letter to every fan of the franchise, giving ever nod and Easter egg of both the games and GCI movies.

@Im_The_FBI @LeottaLisandro @prfctsnst @Tromac_wav It took Toph learning how to metalbend before anyone could actually do it, and then after that she could teach people how to train their mind to do it. Even then, it’s still shown in Korra that you have to do special training to learn it and doesn’t just come automatically.

@baalzamon35 weirded out, and it’s supposed to be more obvious later on when Satella shows up and she starts talking about her and Subaru’s mysterious past relationship. How Emilia connects with Satella and Subaru maybe projecting his love from Satella onto her is important to consider here.
