I think if Buck & Eddie are fighting/arguing in 9x15 & a feelings confession just so happens to slip out of one of their mouths, I think it needs to be either:
"I'm in love with you."
Or
"I love you. I'm in love with you."
It needs to be clearer than just "I love you."
