I think it would be hilarious if it were revealed that Wookies can't talk and Han Solo was just pranking everyone, like Hellen Keller's tutor.

@runaway_vol Opportunity cost is like if Schrödinger's dog were to sh!t in your yard. The sh!t isn't there until you step in it. Likewise, opportunity cost isn't visible until the plan you implemented goes to sh!t and it's too late to change it.

I posted a Substack this morning where I predicted there would be an ICE Airport Hoax/major story coming this week given ICE was being deployed to airports nationwide. Didn't take long. The media will spin this as ICE wrongfully separating families at an airport with Selective Video Editing, Selective Photo Framing, or Sensationalized Reporting.

There's always more context to these situations than shows up in the clips, isn't there? Crazy neighbor keeps talking about Ritchson riding around like a lunatic. Can't tell who put hands on whom first from this either. Don't know about Tennessee, but some states have "fighting words" laws that allow self-defense in these situations. I don't think it's ever legal to just jump in front of someone on a motorcycle and cause them to crash. Crazy neighbor said he called the cops. He should have just waited for them to show up. The court case will be very interesting.

Another review: "After I read 'Demonetize Your Mind!' it helped me be less addicted to scrolling. I check in on the news maybe once a week now." You'll feel so much less stress. You'll have so much more energy. Time to clear the cobwebs and demonetize. (Link in bio!)

Do Democrats Think We're Stupid? | Amy Curtis, Townhall I understand that Democrats have a very low opinion of their voter base and of Americans in general, but they would do well to remember that the vast majority of us are not diehard Leftists who will blindly accept whatever drivel they happen to be selling on any particular day. We have eyes, ears, brains, and Internet connections. To that end, we're painfully aware of the Democratic Party's unwillingness to meaningfully crack down on crime of any variety. Whether it's misdemeanors or felonies, Democrats haven't met a criminal for whom they didn't want to extract their twisted idea of "justice." What has that led to? Countless stories of violent career criminals being arrested over and over again, only to be cut loose to harass, rob, assault, rape, and murder innocent Americans. Two weeks ago, a violent criminal with 131 prior arrests was apprehended — yet again — in New York after setting a man on fire on the city's subway system. Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg has a history of downgrading felony charges to misdemeanors, by the way. In Fairfax County, Virginia, police warned prosecutor Steve Descano's office multiple times about Abdul Jalloh, a violent illegal immigrant whom Descano's office repeatedly refused to prosecute for his myriad crimes. Just three months after one of those warnings, Jalloh stabbed Stephanie Minter to death at a bus stop. In North Carolina, then-Governor (and Democratic Senate candidate) Roy Cooper cut loose dozens of criminals, including Decarlos Brown, Jr., who had at least a dozen prior arrests before he stabbed a young woman to death on Charlotte's light rail system. These are Democratic Party policies. Democrats believe our justice system is inherently racist and that we need "criminal justice reform," by which they mean they don't put criminals in prison at all. Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson and other Democrats insist jailing criminals doesn't solve crime, and Johnson called such a practice "unholy." Which is why when Senator Mazie Hirono said we don't need to worry about noncitizens voting in our elections because we put people in jail for breaking the law, I laughed. "And let's be very clear about something else. Non-citizen voting in federal elections is already illegal. It is a federal crime. If a non-citizen illegally votes in a federal election, they could be prosecuted and even senteced up to five years in prison. Who is going to commit this kind of fraud knowing they could be in prison for five years?" she said. Then I realized she was serious, and I laughed even harder. Last week, an illegal immigrant from Mauritania was arrested and charged with voting in multiple federal elections. An illegal immigrant in Boston used a stolen identity to collect almost half a million dollars in federal benefits and vote. A Canadian citizen was indicted in North Carolina for voting in 2022 and 2024. Even citizens commit voter fraud. A 68-year-old Michigan man was charged with voting absentee and in-person. Even Politico admitted that non-citizens are voting in our elections, though it snarkily asked why Washington was so concerned, since it was "rare." The reason they do it is that they believe they won't get caught and, if they do, that Democrats won't prosecute them when and if they are. Voter fraud is, obviously, a serious crime that undermines democracy. It is, however, non-violent. True, it disenfranchises legal voters, but no one is physically hurt or killed. Democrats have made it very clear that they don't want consequences for those who do commit violent acts; why in the world would they want consequences for a non-violent crime that benefits them politically? And I know it does, because if voting fraud tipped elections to the favor of Republicans, Democrats would have already passed some of the most draconian election laws in the world to put a stop to it. That's why it's absurdly comical for Hirono and the Democrats to play the "voter fraud is already illegal" card with us. Murder is illegal. Robbery is illegal. Rape is illegal. Yet time and again, Democrats cut those criminals loose with few, if any, consequences. The majority of us look at that pattern and realize there will also be few, if any, consequences for illegal voting. Hirono may think we'll buy her easily-debunked talking points, but she'll be shocked to learn the rest of us aren't as stupid as she is. townhall.com/tipsheet/amy-c…

I used the new @hoaxologyAI tool to analyze this Facebook post from ABC. Here’s what it said: VERDICT: This article manufactures a crisis by framing routine presidential messaging as an unprecedented threat while systematically obscuring the legal normalcy of ICE airport operations. PRIMARY MANIPULATION TECHNIQUE: MANUFACTURED URGENCY weaponized through STRATEGIC OMISSION Line-by-Line Analysis: Headline: “PRES. TRUMP THREATENS TO DEPLOY ICE AGENTS TO U.S. AIRPORTS STARTING MONDAY, AMID DHS SHUTDOWN” • LOADED LANGUAGE (“threatens” vs. “announces”) • MANUFACTURED URGENCY (Monday deadline) • FALSE CRISIS FRAMING (“amid shutdown” implies causation) “President Trump said on Saturday that he is ready to deploy ICE agents to U.S. airports starting Monday if Democrats don’t agree to a funding package” • FRAMING BY EXCLUSION (omits that ICE already operates in airports) • PASSIVE VOICE OBSCUREMENT (avoids explaining what “deploy” actually means operationally) “I look forward to moving ICE in on Monday, and have already told them to, ‘GET READY.’ NO MORE WAITING, NO MORE GAMES!” • EMOTIONAL LOADING (presents Trump’s caps-lock style as threatening rather than typical social media rhetoric) • STRATEGIC OMISSION (fails to contextualize that ICE agents are already “in” airports) “The White House referred ABC News back to the president’s post when asked what capacity Americans can expect to see ICE operating in at airports.” • WEASEL WORDING (“what capacity Americans can expect” implies unprecedented visibility) • STRATEGIC OMISSION (doesn’t mention that ABC could have asked ICE directly about normal airport operations) KEY OMISSIONS: • ICE operates in airports every single day as standard procedure • Airport immigration enforcement is 100% routine and legal • Essential personnel work during shutdowns • No explanation of what “moving ICE in” would look like different from current operations • Zero context on normal ICE airport presence CUI BONO: Media benefits from airport panic traffic; Democratic opposition benefits from framing routine enforcement as authoritarian overreach; Trump potentially benefits from appearing tough on immigration. STRATEGIC MANIPULATION: This is classic PACING AND LEADING - the article paces with legitimate shutdown concerns, then leads readers to assume ICE airport presence is somehow shutdown-related or unusual. The entire piece depends on readers not knowing that ICE agents work in airports constantly. HOAXOLOGY RATING: EXTREME - This article transforms completely routine immigration enforcement into a manufactured crisis through systematic omission of basic operational context, creating maximum alarm about normal government functions. @AmericanDebunk
