So a better team = more round wins = more money = better weapons = Donk kills.

@Fwiz I'm sorry, but who are you? It's more likely that Valve is sending a message in the form of this update to say "Don't market manipulate, we still own this market" We have seen it before where valve does something drastic that impacts the market, and it's always as a response.

My tl;dr on the Counter-Strike move: (1) They hate 3rd parties profiting outside the game, enough to knowingly tank $2B in market value (2) They want players back on the native marketplace to recapture that revenue; raising red item values helps rebalance the economy.
