@Woltermoose @denkmit I think Deniz Oncu had one in Moto3 at the back end of 2021 after triggering a big pile up in COTA he was banned for two races. Before that, the last one I can recall, was Romano Fenatti in Moto2 when he pulled the brake of another rider (not sure who it was)
English

@denkmit When the last time a rider got a race banned penalty? I dont think Marc got one when he hit thai rider in moto2.
English

@IndyCar If only 15 of the 17 races weren't geo blocked for me here in Bulgaria 😭😭😭
English

@JolyonPalmer what about Villeneuve in 1998? No podiums in the first 10 races of the season, started the year with a 5th in Australia and a 7th in Brazil
English

@denkmit I am sure it is like a worst case scenario, but is there the possibility to cancel Moto2 and Moto3 qualifying and form the grid based on the times from yesterday's Practice session?
English

@CrystalRacing @heidfeldmafia Simpler yes, but the action during the race was no more than 5% of the whole race. The other 95% was just the drivers running one by one with no overtakes or even attacks unless one of the big guns was coming back through the field
English

@EvgeniVakov @heidfeldmafia And it was more simple to understand. You didn't need a thesaurus to explain the on-track action and how the drivers operated their steering wheel
English

I officially challenge you to sit through 10 races from 1998-2004 without putting a bullet through your head.
You can’t fool me with this nostalgia
Antonio Sabato Jr@AntonioSabatoJr
This was racing not this nonsense we are forced to witness!!!!!
English

@CrystalRacing @heidfeldmafia It was mostly sitting behind and waiting for the pit stops to put one-two really quick laps to undercut or overcut
English

@heidfeldmafia It was a game of chess, patience and defending was seen as acceptable.
English

@organicmeasure @adamcooperF1 @SomersF1 Yes, but do you account for all the cost related to tyre production and shipping? I am sure Pirelli doesn't have tyres laying around in their factories. Fuel must also be shipped as well as a lot other parts, that are simply not available at the moment.
English

@adamcooperF1 @SomersF1 I'm sure there's a circuit in between those two locations fit for testing..
English

@matoxley Not possible since the F1 Qatar GP is on November 29.
English

If the Bahrain (same weekend as the Qatar #MotoGP round) and Saudi F1 GPs are cancelled, due to war in the Middle East, it seems likely the Qatar GP will follow suit, although paddock rumours suggest it may instead be postponed, to the weekend after Valencia, 28/29 November
Adam Cooper@adamcooperF1
Official confirmation of the cancellation of the Bahrain and Saudi Arabian GPs is due this weekend, with the F1 teams now preparing for a four-week gap in the 2026 calendar: crash.net/f1/news/109123…

@EvgeniVakov Ukraine now celebrates Christmas on December 25, instead of the January date that was imposed upon them by their invaders bbc.com/news/world-eur…

@autosport Do sprint wins count for the countback? Because I thought it was only GP results that counted. In GPs Oscar has 7 wins and Max has 6
English

@Trailbraking16 @HaasF1Team @ryohirakawa @fswpress I was thinking the same about Fuji. The straights at Motegi are too short for F1, but at Fuji is perfect with the long start-finish straight. Suzuka is perfect for one lap, but for racing it sucks. Maybe they can do qualifying at Suzuka and racing at Fuji the next day
English

@HaasF1Team @ryohirakawa @fswpress As much as I love Suzuka for driving in the sim, it sucks for racing in real life.
I wish FIA considered Fuji Speedway and Twin Ring Motegi as the alternatives for the F1 calendar.
English

What. A. Track 😍🎌

@denkmit how long do you reckon before we start hearing rumours about MotoGP going back to Istanbul following today's news?
English

@mickbmack @pirellisport Australia 2022 is the last time I remember seeing this
English

Tyre selections are out for the F1 races up to the summer break! Austria & Hungary stick to 2024 specs (C3/C4/C5), while Silverstone goes a step softer and Spa swaps the C2 for the C1 as Hard. More strategy options, more unpredictability. #Fit4F1 #F1 press.pirelli.com/both-new-and-f…

@HaasF1Team @OllieBearman from the onboard on the F1 TV channel it is clear that the red LED lights on Ollie's steering wheel come on after he crosses the finish line.
English

@JolyonPalmer @AlexJacquesF1 @AlexBrundle from the onboard of Bearman you can see that the LED light on his steering wheel, which signal the red flag, come on seconds after he crosses the finish line at the end of his lap.

@Becsywecsy any idea why nobody uses sixth gear in Sweden, even on the long flat sections?
