In Seligman's hypothesis, the dogs do not try to escape because they expect that nothing they do will stop the shock. To change this expectation, experimenters physically picked up the dogs and moved their legs, replicating the actions the dogs would need to take in order to escape from the electrified grid. This had to be done at least twice before the dogs would start willfully jumping over the barrier on their own. In contrast, threats, rewards, and observed demonstrations had no effect on the "helpless" Group 3 dogs.

@catmanmanson I think my biggest issue is there is 0 matchmaking rn. There definitely needs to be matchmaking based on kit value because atm new players are having a horrendous experience. Peri is full of purple shields meanwhile Outpost is full of free kits. That doesn't make sense.

@EvilAndAutistic Yeah exactly there's so much that IS good, but the few things that drag it down have a big impact. Definitely not anything they can't fix though, and the addition of duos makes me feel like they're pretty responsive

@catmanmanson Overall tho I do think the game has an incredibly bright future. It's gonna have an amazing season 2, just s01 has a lot of kinks to hammer out.
