Finally, to our LCS Champion, ROTY and MVP, @jojopyunlol, we could not be more proud of all you've accomplished with us—lifting your first trophy after moving up from our Academy team, walking the international stage (albeit in inappropriate footwear), and earning a collection of well-deserved awards are all memories we'll hold onto forever. Thank you and we will continue to cheer you on, no matter the banner you play under.

Today marks a bittersweet moment for Evil Geniuses. As we formally bid farewell to our LCS team, we look back on this chapter with immense pride. EG welcomed new friends for the 2023 summer split - @Revengeleague, @armao_lol, @UnforgivenLoL, and @SupportEyla - and championed @sheidenlol's introduction to the LCS after moving him up from our NACL roster. @jojopyunlol, having only recently completed his first couple of splits as a rookie, also stepped up in a major way, assuming the role of shot-caller and the responsibility of mentoring our young players. It’s safe to say that with the announcement of this roster, there came a lot of doubts, but those doubts were quickly silenced when the team debuted in the LCS with a perfect game against NRG. Through a lot of hard work and perseverance, they defied expectations, proving that each of these players was a force to be reckoned with. We want to thank this roster for the time we’ve shared, their remarkable achievements, and their invaluable contributions to a legacy that transcends mere wins and losses. In closing the chapter on our League of Legends program, we reflect with gratitude on the journey we’ve undertaken and every person who played a part in it. Started by those with a sincere passion for developing young talent, Evil Geniuses League of Legends became a thriving pipeline for the next generation of esports. The success of that pipeline, proven in the achievements of those who played under our banner, stands as a testament to the dedication and foresight of the coaches, players, and staff members who laid its foundation. The seeds planted by those who envisioned a stronger future for North American League of Legends have already started to shape the landscape today, and we look forward to the success of the LCS and NACL, even if it is not something we will be a part of moving forward. We extend our deepest thanks to every player, coach, staff member, and fan who poured their heart and soul into this journey with us. The bonds and memories that were forged during our time in League of Legends will always hold a special place in our hearts and we hope the legacy that our Geniuses built will continue to inspire not just our fans, but everyone. Thank you.
