I know this is a thought experiment but necrophiles, zoophiles and necrozoophiles do exist and secular ideologies should be able to explain moral wrongness and criminality of this beyond disease prevention. e.g if you could do it hygienically what would be the counter-argument?

The best logical fallacy to give an atheist when discussing morals is to ask them why it's morally wrong to have intercourse with roadkill It's dead it will not feel anything, nobody will know and there are no victims If you ask a Christian or Buddhist why it's morally wrong, they will tell you it's because the body retains inherent dignity as part of God's creation (or the sacred flow of life), and desecrating it violates divine/natural order, harms your soul/karma, and shows disrespect, even if no one feels it or knows An atheistic worldview of this question taken to its extreme, concludes that intercourse with roadkill is tantamount to masturbation and nothing more

@SyntheticAnima That would be a lack of knowledge on my part, cause I don't entirely know how a religious person would argue against an "underage fuck doll". Without a coherent idea at the moment I'd probably default to a herd mentality on that point

@EvilSSasha Like if you purely believe in consent-based morality you can't really argue against it and need some kind of metaphysical idea of common good to justify it, but then many in the QT's won't take that moral framework to its logical conclusions in other parts of their lives/society.

@SyntheticAnima I mean, most people wouldn't have answers to those moral quandaries, and would default to "feeling", which can be internalized Christian values, but I'd argue more of a thousands years of moral social moral development and Christianity is obviously a part of it

@EvilSSasha There are a few "gotcha" thought experiments (which are more than just thought experiments because people have done them) like this that people with naive philosophies don't have a good argument against, e.g "life-like sex-dolls that are designed to look underage"

@SyntheticAnima Obviously the decrease in gay sexual relationships would in effect reduce std rates, but so is banning alcohol would probably lead to a decrease in drunk driving. There are more push and pull factors than just x is y in a more nuanced discussion imo.

@EvilSSasha Thing is the same logic applies to alot of non-reproductive sexual acts, the same logic could (and has been) used to argue for banning gay relationships since they are the main spreaders and causes for STDs. The implication is many secular people think there's more nuance to it.

@SyntheticAnima Morality is mostly societally based on what's "good" for you and an inherent belief that helping your tribe will strengthen it. So in my opinion "don't fuck roadkill cause it's unhealthy" is a good enough reason. Because we can add and remove qualifiers infinitly

@HeapsofSteam This is not about Christianity but about the fact that our entire moral systems are based on religion and religious beliefs. Whether you grew up in Japan, America or Africa our morals were shaped by religions
