#Horrific Yesterday in Siwan, Bihar, police reportedly used firearms against protesting students. Around 10 rounds were allegedly fired from AK-47 rifles, leaving three students with bullet injuries. They are currently in critical condition and undergoing treatment at Medanta Hospital. Protesters must never be met with bullets. Those responsible must be held accountable through an independent and transparent investigation and strict action should be taken against anyone found to have violated the law. In a democracy, dissent cannot be answered with gunfire.
