@RealSkipBayless How hard would it be for the ref to just pause the damn clock when he thinks time is being "wasted". It's very arbitrary how much time they add. Just pause the clock during those times and play until the 90 minutes expires.

Texas gave up 457 yards and lost to a 3-8 team who has since fired their head coach and lost by double digits four times. The regular season has to matter and Texas should’ve shown up on October 4th if they wanted to make the CFP.

Here's the deal: Subsidies DO NOT fix health care. Democrats want your hard-earned taxpayer dollars to cover-up their failed health insurance policies. This is why premiums are through the roof. They would rather enrich health care companies than do what's right for the people.

@SenRubenGallego Can we actually address health care COSTS and not health insurance? You all passed the "Affordable " Care Act, that ISN'T Affordable with more taxpayer subsidies. How about admit that the ACA did nothing but raise costs (and conveniently made billions for insurance companies)?

I’m voting NO on the CR. I have been clear on this from the beginning: I will not turn my back on the 24 million Americans who will see their premiums more than double if we don’t extend these tax credits. At a time when prices are already too high, Americans are shopping for health insurance and experiencing such sticker shock that they are being forced to sign up for a crappy, overpriced plan or not signing up for insurance at all. It means a mom will have to make the decision of whether to put her family hundreds of thousands of dollars in debt in order to pay for her cancer treatment. It is disgusting that Republicans have put the country in the place, where they are pitting working people against each other—a family at a food bank versus a family that relies on the premium tax credits to get good medical care. We can and must care about both.

@SenWarren Nothing in the ACA makes healthcare more affordable. It doesn't even make health insurance affordable. If it did, why are the subsidies necessary? The only people truly benefitting from the ACA are the health INSURANCE companies. Look at their growth and profits since ACA.

I will not support a deal that does nothing to make health care more affordable. We are in a health care emergency. A simple one-year extension of these tax credits would cost less than Donald Trump’s $40 billion bailout for Argentina. A vote for this bill is a mistake.
