Claude's Max subscription costs $200/month.
For a senior developer in the US, that's ~1.4% of their salary.
For a senior developer in Brazil, it's ~7.9%.
For someone on minimum wage in Brazil, it's 63% of their entire monthly income.
Same AI. Same price. Wildly different burden.
🧵 Here's why @AnthropicAI should fix this — and why it's good business, not charity.

@Castlewcpn @codedgar_dev @BoWang87 I open the repo and saw Claude
I said ohh welcome to a messy code, but turns out it was incomplete

@codedgar_dev @BoWang87 I was just gonna say, couldn't get it to run.

🚨BREAKING: Ilya Sutskever Calls For AI Labs To Unite Against Pentagon
“In the future there will be much more challenging situations of this nature”

Ilya Sutskever@ilyasut
It’s extremely good that Anthropic has not backed down, and it’s siginficant that OpenAI has taken a similar stance. In the future, there will be much more challenging situations of this nature, and it will be critical for the relevant leaders to rise up to the occasion, for fierce competitors to put their differences aside. Good to see that happen today.

@EverlastingTM @taintcroix @chheplo Try the others
Grok is just at the same level as the Chinese open source models
So they just have the compute
You think others don’t
OpenAI just secured a 110Billion
English

@Ewakaaa @taintcroix @chheplo Xai has the most H100 equivalents of compute and are adding engineers weekly. SuperGrok is excellent for research on current events, at least that’s what I use it for. Can’t speak to the many other applications of it.
English

Grok is so bad that DoD is not even considering it.
Elon Musk@elonmusk
Anthropic hates Western Civilization
English

@OtsukimiOtsu @axios The manner at which they responded was kinda disrespectful
When dealing with govt, you plead with them. Not command them and trying to make them look bad.
English

NEW: The Pentagon has agreed to OpenAI's rules for deploying its technology safely in classified settings, though no contract has been signed, a source tells Axios.
The department appears to have accepted conditions similar to those put forth by Anthropic. axios.com/2026/02/27/pen…

@taintcroix @chheplo They think 35 researchers can achieve what 500 researchers are working on
It’s nice to have a small focus team
But with AI, you need a lot of talent and people with diverse experience
English

@chheplo This is a strange phenomenon to me. What is it that makes xai’s models so bad? They’re the most developer friendly imo from a pricing and they’re very generous with limits. But the models are just so much dumber and more prone to hallucination than their competitors.
English

@Ewakaaa @OlgaPechnenko @_simonsmith A bug in Claude code is what made usage get consumed fast they patched the bug and restored the usage for Claude code users i know they use the same limit
English

I’m a long-time ChatGPT user for both work and personal uses, and have literally never hit a usage limit. I had 11 conversations with Claude today in my paid account and capped out. And I can’t switch to a lower tier model, I just can’t use it without paying per use or upgrading? I’m not used to this. For all its flaws, ChatGPT definitely has a more generous and user-friendly usage policy.

So the agent can work while you sleep

@OlgaPechnenko @_simonsmith This is claude code specific if he uses claude chat it doesn't apply
English

@iamlichtman @_simonsmith I use the Max $100 plan before. It does hit usage limit fast also. Only the $200 is for developers building something everyday. That’s where you meet the ROI
But you really need to ship something
Or else you are just burning 216 bucks
English

I subbed to Claude Pro tonight and hit my limit about 2.5 hours in on a new coding project that found me asking questions to ai while code was in my terminal just cranking.
Is that bad? Didn’t seem bad for $20/mo considering what that would have cost me otherwise in API tokens.
ChatGPT? I would not have gotten 1/2 as far as I did tonight in twice the time.
I’ll probably upgrade to the $100/mo plan next week but I kind of like that it kicks me out of my chair after 2.5 hours. Hell I probably wasted 25% of my prompts tonight too just screwing off and being me.

@DTC822 @WellsFargo I think you missed the point. No one should have to tell the bank their private intentions on what they are using their money for.
English

I have to VENT! Yesterday, my guy went to @WellsFargo in Florida to withdraw 7k, in cash. The teller called the manager over, and he asked what he was using the money for. My guy said, how is this any of your business? The manager said, we are required to ask. Then he told him he would have to come back tomorrow. My friend went to @TDBank_US in NJ today to withdraw 3k, and the teller asked her what she was using it for. My friend was furious and refused to tell her. WHAT IS GOING ON? THIS IS OUR MONEY! We earned it, paid taxes on it, and it we want to take it home and burn it, we can do that! Has anyone else experienced this?
