@JBurtTelegraph Disgraceful by Tudor to not speak to Kinsky as he leaves the pitch, if the ownership team tolerates that then it says everything you need to know about them.

Kinsky straight down the tunnel followed by Palhinha, Gallagher and Solanke to try and console him. Never, ever seen anything like this.

Uses any of those models either directly or via MCP. Someone showed me how to use Claude Code with $200/month plan. I didn’t see a lot of difference for the way I’m doing things. I am using Kiro $200 per month plan. I do have some questions about the overage charges vs having to create new accounts to get lower prices - have questions out to AWS on that. The thing about AWS is they provide IP indemnity and data protection from models as I’ve explained in blog posts. Also I have been using strategies to reduce token usage and can run as many agents as my system as it can support on the command line. I’m using a lot of strategies to improve results and have a lot of control over the whole process. Not sure how it all compares but another AWS hero recently said he was surprised that he was liking Kiro more recently than Claude Code. IDK works for me so far. 🤷‍♀️ medium.com/cloud-security…

AI 🤖 Update I see others who have this same feeling ~ once you get going on AI it is addictive. I’m super excited right now because I think I have a pretty cool method for using multiple Kiro CLI agents to write and verify code at the same time. I wrote a multi-agent framework that can blast through requirements up to the limit of system capacity. The same framework can be used for my pentesting agents. I tried out my app it was writing and realized I didn’t pick an ideal script to write but it started out ok when I tested it. Unfortunately I have to switch again to work on my current project more directly. I created a nicer interface for starting and stopping agents for specific projects. I hit something Kiro/Claude absolutely could not solve. Nor could Gemini. I guess I do things no one has ever done before? I figured it out myself. I started to refine my global agent management project. I got to thinking. I have to run multiple scripts on the command line. That means a bunch of separate terminal windows and you can’t just fire everything up at once. Of course I can write it in rust with a fancy ui but bash is cheaper and faster. And I’ve found Kiro to be good at translating bash to rust. Aha! 💡Last night before going to bed I thought of a way I might be able to create a simple bash UI to kick off and manage the whole process. I’d love to use the Kiro IDE but there are some complications (I’m a weirdo security nerd so it’s just me and most everyone else should probably be using that). I wonder how many of the problems I am trying to solve are already solved in the Kiro IDE? The script I was trying to write was to fix a problem in a consistent way so I could use Kiro IDE in a way in which I felt comfortable with it but then I got stuck and have to finish a client project now. But this new idea seems like it is going to work and then I can run everything way faster and monitor the whole process in a terminal window. We’ll see. Super excited to get it done and use it to run some pentest tools today.

@warpling @1Password I have this issue on almost every unlock, @1Password quality control has gone down significantly since they started working in other products 😬 Sadly, I think I'll move password managers before they fix it.

I'm sorry but can someone explain how I'm using @1Password wrong? It feels like I'm fighting dial-up pop-ups.

@TeriRadichel @goranopacic They actively recommend only having one organisation-wide identity manager region. Sadly (frustratingly!) some parts of aws aren't delivering what they expect their customers to deliver. The impact on us was pretty minimal but that's through luck as much as judgment.

The AWS outage today was primarily in the us-east-1 region today. I would love to hear from customers who designed fault tolerant architectures not reliant on a single region who were unaffected by this outage. Anyone?

@TeriRadichel @goranopacic AWS services like Quicksight went down in multiple regions because of internal AWS dependencies on us-east-1. AWS Identity Centre isn't multi-region, you have to pick one on creation, so if you or another service you use depends on it in us-east-1 you couldn't log in

@goranopacic Sounds like the AWS regional infrastructure was working fine. I know someone who was unaffected because they had deployed NATs in multiple regions, as any critical infrastructure should.

@gwenshap Terraform (or it's open variants) - it's a little more work for the very first lambda but after that it's very straightforward to repeat

I have some AWS Lambda code examples that I used to deploy with Serverless framework. Unfortunately, v3 is not maintained and is kinda broken, and v4 has both license and functionality changes that I can't really adopt. How do y'all deploy to AWS Lambda these days?

Imagine saying at the start of the season City and Forest would be fighting it out for the same positions. You’d have asked how many points City had deducted because of the charges.
