UPDATE - Hurricane Hillary - Cat 1 - Headed Towards Southern California - Hurricane Hillary this morning was downgraded to a Cat 1 storm and will eventually become Tropical Storm Hillary as it gets ready to make landfall on Baja California. - The storm is expected to be a Tropical storm as it enters extreme Southern California around midnight tonight. Tropical Storm force winds will begin to be felt in extreme Southern California sometime this morning and possibly as far north as Southern Nevada later this evening. - Areas of Southern California, East of LA and San Diego will see between 6-10 inches of rain, while there could be some pockets that see upwards of 15 inches. Rain will spread northward this afternoon and evening into Southwestern California and eventually into Southern Nevada. - There is an extreme flash flood risk in most of Southern California, and wind could be an issue for those in higher elevations.
