Yeah, this has to be stepped up like many freaking levels. I’m sorry, this isn’t good enough. I was baptized Catholic and went through RCIA 12 years ago. There is NOTHING in Catholic teaching that supports hatred of Jews. Nothing. But SOMEHOW, Catholics online are twisting the faith to justify antisemitism and speaking as if they represent the Magisterium. Newly converted Catholics leaning into this because they think Jew-hate is permissible? Speaking online like they carry the authority of the Holy See? What is happening here? Where is the consistent correction from Church leadership? This cannot stay at the “strongly worded” statement level. Priests and deacons need to address this clearly at the parish level, too. Most of us on this app are disgusted watching trolls and influencer-level accounts with massive reach push this garbage and warp people’s thinking. It is turning into a mob mentality. It’s DISGUSTING and ROTTEN. If this isn’t confronted directly, it will keep spreading. This is serious, and it’s getting worse. We are already behind, and this poison is actively distorting people’s minds. History is not unclear about where this leads, and it NEVER ends well.

Catholics are called to reject antisemitism and the lies and conspiracies that fuel it, and to stand clearly against hatred and violence directed toward our Jewish brothers and sisters. The church is not the "new Israel." Christians are not the "new Jews." There are Gentile believers in Jesus, and there are Jewish believers in Jesus. This is the church. Israel remains a literal nation of ethnic people who God made an unconditional covenant with, and no man's twisting of scripture will change that. This is the truth.
