Finally visited Hinamizawa (Shirakawa) alongside Rika. It was incredible seeing those heavily filtered pictures from the VN coming to life. Also, seeing the little shrines made to higurashi was heartwarming.

my main issue would be if they completely removed sandman from the beginning, but they still opened the story with him so i can respect it (i think the story opening with him is a key part of sbr)

they did cut some good moments from the first sbr ep, i do agree with the decision though to make sure the first episode flows well, it’s a different medium after all and i think it worked great
will depend on how they make up for it later
