I believe in your culture when you have someone you want to marry, you parents will first investigate where the lady in from by going to the town or community where the lady is from and asking questions. In Igbo culture it is done.
The reason divorce is on the rise is because people no longer do their due diligence. We in Africa are trying to imitate the west when it is them who should imitate us in marriage affairs. You this marriage is about love alone?

@Excel_szn @Bi_Shop21 @instablog9ja Getting married to the family and not just the lady is very absurd to the ear 👂 😂
English

I know lots of people who had ladies that they really wanted to marry, but after close look of the family these ladies come from, the relationship had to be halted.
Imagine getting into a family where you know to them divorce isn’t an issue, and you as a man you and your family have never considered divorce in marriage, do you think when issues arise in your marriage, and you and your family are trying to resolve the issues, your wife and her family won’t be encouraging divorce?
English

When you were getting married to the woman, didn’t you know you were getting married into the family not just the lady? You owe something to the lady’s family you are married into and likewise she does yours. I get where you are coming from because some families can be a lot , but before you commit to marrying someone you have to also look at how the family dynamics is over there else you will breed resentment amongst you that never existed in the first place. Not being involved in your spouses family affair when they want you to is enough grounds to cause issues when there were prior expectations after marriage. Knowing the person you are marrying is important and knowing the family she comes from is also very much important sometimes more important in some cases.
English

@instablog9ja You owe none of your inlaws nothing after getting married
Whatever you do for them should be out of free will.
I know many will come for this comment, but trust me I'm well prepared for you.

@liquidityXBT They mostly don't. People who don't go to the gym just feel intimidate that they don't have the level of disciple to get in shape thats all

@johnsonolalek11 @instablog9ja This is nonsense talk, if the bill is too much, then they should use generator that is cheaper or buy a solar panel.
English

Governor Alex Otti brought steady electricity to Abia, that's genuinely commendable. But when the bill now exceeds house rent, the light becomes a burden instead of a blessing. Consistent power should improve lives and reduce business costs, not become another source of financial stress and anxiety. Fix the billing, make the progress complete.

THIS IS CRAZYY!!!!🤯
A guy just built a $1.8 billion company with two employees. Him and his brother. Using AI.
Matthew Gallagher started Medvi from his house in Los Angeles. Spent $20,000 and two months. AI wrote the code. AI made the website. AI made the ads. AI handled customer service.
First month. 300 customers. Second month. 1,000 more. First full year. $401 million in sales. This year on track for $1.8 billion.
His only hire? His younger brother. That's the entire company.
The New York Times verified the numbers. $65 million profit last year. More than $3 million coming in every single day.
Now compare this. Hims & Hers sells weight loss drugs online. 2,442 employees. $2.4 billion revenue. 5.5% profit margin. This guy is doing nearly the same with two people and triple the margins.
He grew up living in motels and cars. Taught himself to code on a laptop his uncle gave him. Sold samurai swords on eBay as a teenager. Didn't finish college. Moved to LA to become an actor.
Now he's running the fastest growing company nobody has heard of.
When his website broke during a hike he had to sprint home because there was nobody else to fix it. Lost 200 customers in one hour. That's the reality of a two person company doing $1.8 billion.
A VC told him don't raise money. He listened. Zero outside funding. He owns 100% of it.
Two brothers. $20,000. A laptop. And every AI tool they could get their hands on. That's all it took.
