I built a script that can help you recover 2 lost words from a seed phrase of any evm wallet : yesterday, zun cracked one lost word from a seed phrase and helped someone find his old wallet so i thought why not publish a guide and level up to 2 words of a seed phrase link : github.com/morsyxbt/BIP39… how to use it : visit the link all details are given, follow the steps closely and you will be able to recover your old lost seed phrase how it works : to crack 1 word : BIP39 seed phrases use a fixed wordlist of exactly 2048 wordlist, so if you forget 1 word and know other positions, the script will use all 2048 words and check the active wallets and shows up ignoring other 2047 possibilities but if you don't know rest 11 words positions, the missing word can be in any of the 12 position, each has 2048 possibilities : 12 x 2048 = 24,576 attempts it usually takes few minutes to crack up to crack 2 words : here i faced a problem, if you don't know the positions of words and lost 2 words : the combination gets worse, 66 position pairs : 2048^2 x 66 = 277 million attempts this could takes days so to fix this i used a Target_address and known 10 positions of a phrase (where 2 words are lost) so there are only 2 lost positions both have 2048 possibilities : 2048 x 2048 = ~4.1 million possibilities which takes around 1-2 hr to crack can we crack more than 2 words of a phrase? yes, it is possible but time consuming upto days and if you don't know other positions possibilities will go even hard and also it needs more compute power but with the introduction of quantum computer, things will change and that's in future we might see new privacy measure of seed phrases gud tek, hope you learnt something new today.

this was actually a crazy experience. he forgot 1 word from his evm wallet key phrases and he could not even remember that wallet address, so things got a bit messy. i asked which position the missing word was in and he said the 8th. i tried that lmao but did not work. then i asked which chain he had funds on and wrote a quick snippet to check every positions on bnb chain and it worked and the missing word was in 5th position, not 8th lol i will write a simple guide on how to recover a missing word from your wallet key phrase soon. anyway here is the recovered wallet address : 0x78965748413d08c51e40115C25c99dd14dbf94e7
