I never feel excited to play, or want to see new characters, I just pray for a patch every month, for the chance at seeing this game live up to its potential. There is a MASTERPIECE in there. But the "vision" for it betrays what i loved. I apologize for giving in to that rage.

T8 started so strong, was such a breath of fresh air in its first year. I met so many incredible people. But now its like watching a close friend hurt themselves. That excitement, the thrill of the game joining two people without saying a word. Its gone. Replaced with anger. 2/-

Second, I do need to apologize. Using this platform as a glorified venting platform isnt what I should be doing. But watching the activity that liyerally saved my life be in such a sad state, players at each other's throats...it makes me more sad than I can describe. 1/-

I want to take a second, and apologize/give insight into future plans. I DO intend to return to streaming at some point in the near future. I miss it greatly. My fan base showed me unprecedented support, and I owe it to them to keep going with an activity I enjoyed so much.

7 months. 7 months for nothing. Tried playing some Tekken today, and its just not fun. Im over the anger, the hate, the gaslighting, my drive to play gone. It feels no different. Going to actually try to stop playing until it gets better. But a ten year addiction is hard to kick.

@DroopiTV @yoj99_ Of course we would. Everyone has a different view for the game. But devs dont get to just tune it out. They need to do their best to hit relevant complaints, and find a good in-between for their "vision" and what players have issues with. Thats what balance is supposed to be.

It'd be nice if the Tekken dev team sat everyone down for a full showcase of what Season 3 is going to be offering in order to give the player base some form of positive hope as we approach huge system wide changes But since they're under a lot of pressure, I doubt it'll happen

@currygoats1 @yoj99_ The fuck is this take? After a bad S2, they expect us to drop money on a S3 pass. Its completely fair to want clear communication about what theyre doing going into S3. Thats not even a "Tekken nerd" thing. Dedicated player got burned by a bad product. They dont want that again.

@PhiDXGames This is frustrating to hear. Full disclosure, I havent watched the vid yet. But off the cuff, in the trailer and in discussions, "back to basics" is not something that reads "dev approach" or "balance mentality. To me, it reads as "dialing things back", ergo less volatility.

Wall splatting heat smash has been a big part of Hwoarang’s identity for over a decade now; a bit concerning to see this being removed 🤨

Tired of fighting games using aggression as a buzzword. Its boring to just see buttons all over the place. No tension, no thought.

@TEKKEN @MarkMan23 This is a good start. I get some people won't be happy that it isn't the huge gameplay change they were hoping for, but you need to live in the real world and realise that was never going to happen.
