I think people are overreacting to the Draisaitl injury personally. Seeing a bunch of tweets about the unprotected first. Just stop it, we’re easily going to make it I’ll say this though, this might be the perfect time for the depth guys to get going and hit their stride before the playoffs. No Leon means no McDavid Draisaitl stack, which means everyone’s icetime is elevated. I assume Drai is only out this long for precautionary reasons We’ve been so good defensively, if we can continue that play and get more guys going like how Savoie and Podz have been, getting Leon back just before the postseason will be the boost we need to make a deep run #LetsGoOilers

Losing Draisaitl for last 14 games is big blow but only one team has best player in world McDavid. He plays 23 mins a game now, maybe he gets it up to 25. Taking McDavid off PK would be a first step. No blocking of shots. Increase his ES minutes
