Just upgraded to @exetel's One Plan for 500/50 internet and results speak for themselves. Whole transition took 20mins. Automatic changeover with no technical skills required. These speeds were on an M4 Pro Mac mini from a 4 year old TP-Link Archer VR1600v Wi-Fi 5 router. #nbn

Day 22 with no NBN from @Exetel / @NBN_Australia. Exetel texted me yesterday to say it’s fixed. But it isn’t! Again no progress on the complaint I filed on Tuesday - it was mean to be 2 days! Why no updates??

With the utter lack of progress I filed a complaint with @exetel on Tuesday - was told it would be 24/48 hours and someone would contact me. Checked with them late yesterday, no-one has been allocated to my case yet! This is really poor - on top of everything else!! 3/3

On Friday 8th my HFC NBN stopped working. It’s now 21 days and not fixed despite 12 calls to @exetel & 3 @NBN_Australia (and 2 no shows). Totally frustrating. Exetel has had no urgency to fix and has poor processes that have led to continual delays. 1/3

Tried a number of things including reboots etc. On Tuesday I was told by @exetel it was “complicated and we can’t provide a time to fix and will get back to you in 48 hours”. No one got back to me. I have to keep chasing this and no longer have patience for this 2/3

Earlier this month I reported on @Exetel dumping complex plans, replaced with a single, simple 500/50Mbps plan for A$80pm.. Too good to refuse, I just left Superloop for this deal. techau.com.au/exetel-dumps-c… Also included is an option to pay $1 for a 24hr upgrade to 1Gbps, anytime you want. Ported to @exetel 3 days ago. Porting stuff up on there end. Have not had a phone connection since. Customer service is terrible with no end in sight. Have lost two business deals due to phone not working. Will seek damages.

@exetel I had a very disappointing experience as a new customer with Exetel. Exetel activated my service without asking, causing double charges. When I complained, they just said ‘sorry’ and told me to deal with my old provider myself. Terrible start.
