Cucurella clearly didn’t buy into this shambles of a project just like most reasonable and rationale people haven’t. This meant the club had to sell. Let’s remember. 2-3 signings that are ready to start were the PR briefings. Let’s be real we won’t be improving on Cucurella and Enzo once they both leave. Regardless of how much PR the club try and spin.

Romeo Lavia is a 1 of 1 talent, most of what Bouaddi did yesterday, the security on the ball, the turning away from pressure & thé physical dominance, Lavia at physical peak has it & is perhaps even more mobile. To replace Lavia you need to sign a talent of the same quality which is why I wanted Bouaddi. But if you can’t get similar level of talent you keep Lavia. Low wages & still a massive massive massive ceiling + is a profile we lack in the squad
