I wanted to take a moment and let you guys step in my life for a second. I am a Marine, a husband, a father, and the owner of Indies Coffee. I am still a hard shell of a soul that has to fake empathy and don't really let anyone get close to me. I am a little mixture of motivator, comic relief, don't give a shit, and don't fuck with. But I love my vets intensely, and hence give a lot of my time and money to help them.
My days begins at 6am everyday, and goes steady till midnight to 1am. I roast coffee, run a business, design marketing, and plot the growth of Indies. I still find time to spend with my family, for I am building tgis for them. We do jiu-jitsu and muy thai, work on shooting skills, and I pass down survival knowledge. My kids will be operators whether they join or not.
Years ago, I had drawn away from the church, not God, but not a practicing Christian. A woman came into my life, and honestly, did not give her much thought. I woke up one morning and knew I had to find her (she says stalk, but stalking has a COMPLETELY different meaning in my book).
After many non-dates, she got me back to church, and we have been together ever since. We have now been married for almost 12 years, have 2 amazing kids, and never talk to each other in anger. I love her.
We own and operate Indies Coffee, where we try to always hire vets or vet spouses. We ARE the best coffee out there. This is not just a statement, it is a promise. Marines are second to no man, and yes, we can make the Earth go in the other direction.
We want everyone to be successful and have amazing lives. We all have one of them and deserve to live it to the max. If you are our customer, you are family. If you are not, we welcome you to join us. Be a part of a company that puts our vets before money. Be a part of a family that is real, that you know where we stand, and that will never turns it's back or let you down.
Sorry for this being long, and thank you for taking the time. I am blessed to have you all in my life, and hopefully, my account grows and can reach more people. This, in return, helps our vets.
