One of my own photos. This is the small chapel that was built by Italian POWs near Hereford, Texas during World War II. 5,000 prisoners stayed at the camp, the second-largest built in the United States during the war. Now the chapel stands in the middle of a cornfield, abiding.
This week will be pretty benign for active weather. It's a dry forecast with above average temps expected through the week. It will be quite nice though to cast your last second ballot if you haven't already done that for tomorrow's election. @ABC7Amarillo @StormSearch7
High temperatures are forecast to reach into the 70s by late this afternoon across the Oklahoma and Texas Panhandles. A weak cold front will move across the region this afternoon into early this evening, with winds becoming north behind the boundary. #phwx
