The Valdosta, St. Marys, Port Wentworth, and Augusta Visitor Information Centers (VICs) will be closed through September 29th. All other Visitor Information Centers (VICs) will be open.

The Valdosta, West Point, Columbus, St. Marys, Port Wentworth, and Augusta Visitor Information Centers (VICs) will be closed today at noon. All other Visitor Information Centers (VICs) will be open.

To ensure the safety of residents ahead of Hurricane Helene, GEMA/HS and state partners will open shelters starting tomorrow. These shelters will provide a safe place for those in the storm's path to seek refuge. For more information, visit gema.georgia.gov/hurricane-hele….
