@t_s_noble Right. As she said, 'luck is not on her side' meaning the surgery is literally the same day as TennoCon. However, she mentioned everything should be fine after the surgery. Hope she recovers as quickly and smoothly as possible!

@Irexmaed @MoopleLoops Yes, and for me personally, finding weird ways to break the game is my main objective. What I want to do with the game, or what it represents to me, has nothing to do with whether it has endgame or not.
For that reason, this discussion sounds so disconnected from reality to me.
English

@EyelessFormxYT @MoopleLoops Yeah, WF's endgame should be reflective of what it has, which is a lot of stuff. In the end, it's up to the individual player what's fun enough to keep doing and optimizing all their tools to do so. Using any weapon or WF combo I can in "hard" content is the goal for me, though.
English

"Endgame" has become such a nebulous word IMO because what endgame is varies game to game, and person to person. Fashionframe can be your "endgame", collecting everything in Warframe (or even Destiny, god forbid) can be your endgame. My immediate thought when people say Warframe-

The whole Endgame discussion is very interesting. Endgame in a looter shooter is just activities that appear post “campaign” that require you to be geared up, that provide replayability and activity specific rewards. If you think Warframe has no endgame, you probably either don’t play, or have no idea what you’re doing. - Netracells - Descendia - EDA - ETA - Level Cap Void Cascade All of these fall under the umbrella of endgame, base steel path does not.
English

@MoopleLoops But in reality, Warframe qualifies as a game with proper endgame. Just like almost all MMORPG, ARPG, Looter Shooters, etc
English

@MoopleLoops “Endgame” in multiplayer games isn’t the literal end of the game. It’s the phase where you’ve already unlocked the core systems, and the main motivation shifts from progression to optimization, competition, mastery, prestige, or maintaining social/political/economic power.
English

@MoopleLoops By this logic, Warframe has an endgame, and it has nothing to do with challenge. The fact that people consider 'endgame' to be challenging, and thus, feel Warframe like a game without one. is just a matter of perspective.
English

@MoopleLoops In an MMO that may mean raids and BiS gear. In a MOBA, ranked and mechanical mastery; in sandbox games, economy and politics. But the underlying logic is the same
-->the game stops asking “how do you progress?” and starts asking “what do you do with everything you already have?”
English

@MoopleLoops Most endgames share the same patterns:
vertical progression slows down
the real skill ceiling appears
gameplay revolves around repeatable loops
social structures become more important
players start creating their own goals

@transmeatloaf Something like Perita Rebellion with a 6 player squad, two 4 player squads or smth like that. Chain objectives with a timer, maybe each completed objective provides a buff to the team, or debuff to the final boss. And some minibosses sprinkled.

I feel like every era of fissure should have three nodes up: One being a /GUARANTEED/ endless node (Survival, Defense, Interception)
I love conjunction, but man, it gets stale sometimes.

@DTaiju I totally agree. I don’t mind some overlap in motifs, as long as each frame still has its own distinct personality.
And honestly, DE has proven to be quite creative — I mean, I never would’ve expected a mushroom-themed frame in the first place.
