We’re investing in our leisure centres 💪🌹 Thanks to better funding from the new Labour government we can invest in our leisure centres, parks, schools and so much more. The conservatives cut funding to Enfield for over 14 years. They cut. We invest. That’s the difference.

Last night at the OVS committee meeting, we are introducing AI to improve our customer service. A chatbot is one of these tools.

🚧 Enfield Lock Underpass Update 🚧 The drains are the responsibility of Network Rail, not the Council. Due to ongoing issues and a faulty pump, flooding happens during heavy rain. We’ve raised this again with Network Rail and are pushing for urgent repairs.

We attended the launch of the EIV Community Hub this afternoon. 🌹

Today, on Holocaust Memorial Day, we remember the six million Jewish men, women and children murdered in the Holocaust, and all those persecuted by the Nazis. As survivors grow fewer, the duty to remember, educate and say never again falls to us all - and to future generations.

I stand in full solidarity with the Kurdish people and reaffirm my support for their rights, dignity, especially in light of the ongoing situation in Rojava, Syria.

The violence in north-east Syria must stop. Lives are being lost & communities torn apart. I’ve pressed Ministers for urgent action - raising this in Parliament & writing to the Foreign Secretary - as Kurdish communities and other minorities face grave risk. Action is needed now
