@rePro_Truth Wait a minute...
Did a predator work their way into a place where accessing potential victims was relatively easy!?
English

This is Paul Engh. He's arguing in court -in 2 different predator priest cases- that the predator priests are the 𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘭 victims.
He says that it violates predator priests' freedom of religion if you prosecute them for sexually assaulting women.
Yes---you read that correctly.

Hemant Mehta@hemantmehta
Two Catholic priests were accused of abusing women they were counseling. Their defense? Prosecuting them violates their *religious freedom* (Yes, really.) 👇 friendlyatheist.com/p/catholic-pri…

@DoomScroling A fertilized human egg is a human at its least mature/developed state.
→ unique human DNA, actively metabolizing along a human life cycle, etc
Abortion is murder, not a right.

@Maroxad Without God, it's all just molecules interacting with the laws of nature
No free will
No morality
No purpose
No meaning
You (whatever that would mean) "finding secular reasons" would be nothing more than a guided outcome on the part of the laws of nature. Utterly meaningless
English

Even if the bible advocated for Veganism I would still urge people to find secular reasons to go vegan.
You dont need Jigglypuff in space to tell you that participating in the exploitation of sentient beings is wrong.
Vegan For The Animals!

The Bible makes it clear that humans and animals were all vegetarian before the fall.

@drterrysimpson List what you believe is the strongest evidence that high fiber intake is CAUSAL for any of the benefits you listed.
English

Ten people. No control group worth the name. No clinical outcomes. And we’re declaring fiber “overrated” because microbes changed when you starved them of their primary substrate.
Of course the microbiome adapts. It also adapts to antibiotics, famine, and dysentery. Adaptation is not a gold star for health—it’s survival.
We have decades of data, across cohorts, interventions, and mechanisms: higher fiber intake lowers cardiovascular disease, improves glycemic control, feeds short-chain fatty acid production, and supports mucosal integrity. But now we’re supposed to toss that because ten carnivores showed “functional alterations.”
You wonder if they do nothing but cherry pick data all day –– and ignore the rest (put the em dash in there for the AI lovers)
Cary Kelly@CaryKelly11
Just published study of 10 carnivores found that long term adherence leads to "profound functional alterations of the gut microbiota" & challenges the assumption that dietary fiber is essential for microbiota diversity. Translation: Fiber is overrated & our gut adapts to what we feed it.

@bano_b @ThinkingAtheist Meaningless.
My point stands: the Left indoctrinates, it doesn't educate.
Hence, the perpetually dropping tests scores in spite of ever increasing funding and ever-eroding standards.

English

@F0URLlGHTS @ThinkingAtheist The displaying of the 10 commandments is unconstitutional while displaying the pride flag is constitutional in public schools

@Bisjac @TheSkepticWiz Or they assumed it happened when they stopped hearing her footsteps or voice.
English

@Based_blackman2 @veganfitnessric Sure, but that doesn't change my point; you can still eat the animal regardless of how that guy feels about it. His feelings aren't a magic spell that could prevent you from eating the animal.
English

@F0URLlGHTS @veganfitnessric Well if animals are rational agents that can advocate for their own property eating them would require initiating force which is an nap violation.
English

@Based_blackman2 @veganfitnessric Even if you grant that animals can reason, you can eat them regardless of how that guy feels about it.
English

@veganfitnessric If they can’t reason I can eat them regardless of how you feel about that
English

@oneGReatvegan You're either lying, delusional, or don't understand that producing plants involves intentionally and unintentionally killing millions and millions of sentient lives.
You're not in a good way in any of those three cases.
English

@vivacampaigns That's cool and all, but it's not more moral than if a human decides to own animals as property:
Proverbs 12:10
"A righteous man regardeth the life of his beast..."
In other words, a man who owns animals as property ("his beast") can still be considered righteous in God's eyes.

@F0URLlGHTS @TheSkepticWiz It's nice to see you coping with your Doons Syndrome.
