Women are being forced to undergo c-sections without their consent in Florida, after being forced to participate in a zoom court hearing without an attorney, because in Florida if you are pregnant you will be treated as property of the state in the name of......fetal personhood.

@paininjection @blackriverx What? No one should ever be forced to undergo any medical procedure without their consent. In regards to elective sterilization, that is an option that should be available to anyone who wishes to be sterilized.

@DoomScroling @blackriverx C sections aren’t a shortcut. they cut through so, so much. for the people who want to do this, it’s the same amount of cutting as a hysterectomy (which i know you’re afraid of since you likely hate for women to choose their own sterilization.) it can’t be on a whim:
