I was contacted by an account claiming to represent a sportsbook / casino platform offering a partnership deal that included: • $1,500 weekly payment • $2,000–$3,000 casino balance for content creation • Withdrawal once the balance reaches $5,000 • Request to continue the conversation on Telegram After checking the platform and doing some verification, several red flags appeared: • The website is very new and has low trust ratings online • Ownership details are hidden • No clear proof that the person contacting me is an official affiliate manager • The withdrawal condition tied to a casino balance is a common tactic used in scam funnels This is exactly how many creators get pulled into risky or fake partnerships. Important reminder for everyone in Web3 and content creation: Before accepting any collaboration: 1. Verify the company’s official website and affiliate program 2. Confirm that the person contacting you is listed by the project 3. Never promote a platform you haven’t verified 4. Be cautious when someone asks you to move the conversation to Telegram immediately 5.
