It’s been a different kind of year for a lot of wedding vendors when it comes to bookings. I’ve heard quite a lot of “we went with someone else that fits our budget” lately. Then this morning a lead told me he’d already decided after seeing us document his friend’s wedding. He said his Instagram display photo is literally a photo our team took at that wedding. Loved hearing that. He wasn’t interested in talking to anyone else. We got off the call and he booked on the spot. In a market where everyone keeps undercutting each other, it’s a reminder. People still see value in what we do. The ones who want you will always want you. Keep going.

This is why I do what I do. The moment he turned around, pure excitement seeing his bride for the first time. No posing. No direction. Just that split second where the whole day suddenly becomes real. The laugh that turns into a sob. The way they hold each other like they have been waiting for this moment forever.
