What a good opportunity for @GeorgeRussell63 to have a Merc audition for 2022. That's if Williams would let him. Both championships are sewn up, so the pressure would be off.

Merc were looking at signing @HulkHulkenberg before bringing Lewis into the team and with stricter travel restrictions in Bahrain (potentially limiting the replacement driver pool), maybe it's time for #hulkenback to have a go in the non-pink-mercedes?

Great insight from Otmar of the past 24 hours. Hulk was their #1 choice after they discovered Checo was positive at 14:20. Hulk landed at 19:00, straight to factory, seat fit by team members there since the Jordan days, then into the simulator to learn the wheel and feel the car

Personally I think @GeorgeRussell63 should replace @SChecoPerez (get well soon!) at @RacingPointF1 for the #BritishGP, which leaves @JaitkenRacer in the seat at @williamsf1 as their official reserve driver

I wonder if @RacingPointF1 would be considering not just the financial impact of losing sponsorship Perez brings in, but also the impact of potentially losing a significant chunk of their fan base too. That's if Vettel were to replace Sergio instead of Lance.
