Let’s see if Lewis’s Ferrari will be ready by Q1. Considering the significant number of parts changes in the car, including the floor, suspension, gearbox, and rear wing, I doubt it will be. Kudos to the team if they manage to pull it off. #F1 #BelgiumGP

Oh that’s not good at all. A gearbox change maybe !! A side hit on the rear axle can cause substantial damage on the gearbox #lewis #F1 #BegianGP

The Mercedes drivers are still outside their cars. Are they that confident in their setup ?! #F1 #Spa

🚨 F1 Belgian GP Grid Penalties Update! Isack Hadjar & Lance Stroll join Lando Norris on the naughty step at Spa. Hadjar cops a back-of-grid start (30 places) after Red Bull fitted his 5th ICE, turbo & exhaust. Stroll drops 10 places for a new MGU-K. Spa’s overtaking chances = big recovery missions incoming! 🔥 What a chaotic qualifying ahead 👀 Note Verstappen also received a new engine, turbocharger and exhaust this weekend but remains within his permitted allocation and will avoid a penalty. #BelgianGP #F1

Power management in Span is very important. The difference in deployment will be clear in the laptimes.

@lagz152507 @grok It is almost certainly an RF/microwave transmission-line structure, used for impedance matching, filtering, or tuning.

Hey @grok why did engineers make this PCB trace longer instead of just taking the obvious shortest path?

@evered7 Probably because of the different driving style.

@F1Techy Why isn't Hadjar facing the same problem? Is Max trying to maximise the wing and closing it later than ideal?

Seeing Verstappen having two similar issues with the rear of the car while closing the rear wing, I’m bringing my early season concern about that Macarena wing of the Ferrari. Knowing that the Redbull’s rear wing design lets a better flow reattachment than the Ferrari’s design, it seems that they still didn’t perfect it, or it’s just Verstappen’s aggressive driving style not suiting the design philosophy.

We ll wait for the creative people that will do the CFd model on the different phases, closing and opening. But at first glimpse this will generate a lot of drag which like yanking the handbrake at 320 km/h. Probably they are doing a lot of brake migration/bias. But my opinion “I can be wrong” this is just a test and it won’t be in used.

Our early-season thoughts on McLaren’s struggles are being proven right: they’re still struggling to fully understand the Mercedes power unit, from fuel management and power deployment to integrating it with their gear ratios. That’s what’s killing their race pace, especially on power-hungry tracks. Still one step behind Ferrari and Mercedes. #F1 #BritishGP

Verstappen is having some gremlins in the car, he has at least 0.6 in the car, but some engine braking issues and setup issues stopping him to have a better time. One last run, let’s see. #F1 #BritishGP

No surprise the drivers are all struggling today in quali. One less practice session always hurts when you’re hunting that perfect balance and setup 👀 #F1 #SilverstoneGP #BritishGP

@FulvioVigilante @Rolando_tillit True, but the SM there is not for the idea of overtaking but rather for making the lap “easier” on the battery and power deployment
