Season 8 ends August 4 at 12:59 CEST. Season 9 begins August 5 with a soft Elo reset and ten placement matches to determine your new Elo. Your Season 8 activity is a key factor in the upcoming reset, so every match you play now helps reduce it.

We have restored Elo to all 29,720 players who had their matches affected by this week’s mouse movement bug. Happy weekend grind.

After the recent update, we identified an issue causing some players to be unable to move their mouse while using the FACEIT AC. We're investigating the issue and have temporarily closed matchmaking queues.

The Season 9 reset will be lighter and closer to the Season 7 reset, which mainly targeted the top players on the platform. Season 8 was the heaviest soft reset we've done. While we will still have big resets like that in the future when they benefit the ecosystem, we do not need one of that size every few months. We will be sharing more details and additional changes next week to the reset for Season 9.

The queues are now open, with Cache added to the competitive map pool. GLHF!

A Cache only queue is available to play in EU with lower stakes at ±5 Elo per match. This event is available until July 8 to help players practice the updated map as the new Premier season begins.

Queues opening !

We've temporarily closed all queues to resolve an issue with matches not creating and updating after the most recent CS2 update. Thank you for your patience.

Create highlight clips from rounds on FACEIT without downloading a demo. Open the match page, head to Match Insights, pick your round, and generate it for 1 token.

From July 6, Overpass is leaving the queue and will no longer be available in Matchmaking. Cache joins the competitive pool in its place and will count toward the minimum maps required in your queue settings.

At IEM Cologne, we built a physical LFT board to bring players together and help them find a team before S58 registration closes on July 9. Online, 1,110 teams are waiting to complete their rosters. Filter your search by role, skill level, region, and availability.

Cache returns for ESEA Season 58. Sixteen years ago, ESEA paid Volcano to create the original version in Counter-Strike: Source, beta testing the map with Main players. Now, the latest version returns to the pool. Ready to run it back in official matches?
