@MrLundScience I’ve improved my raising abilities thanks to your help last year. This week thanks to working from home I recorded my first and second eclosing monarch three days apart.
Monarch Watch [dot org] has asked that those who tag Monarchs, if possible try to find/tag more wild ones.
I had an amazing opportunity to do so with a large gathering of them!
And had two cool helpers along for the ride!

@NWSChicago@MikeJanssenWX This female cardinal and male Baltimore Oriole are not waiting for tonight’s cold front to come through. They are staying cool by the pool.
A cold front will bring breezy northerly winds overnight, creating dangerous swim conditions from high waves and strong currents. These hazardous conditions will remain into Saturday evenings. #ILwx#INwx

Thinking of Homero Gomez Gonzalez today. He was killed protecting these endangered #butterflies. The very least we can do is plant a bit of #Milkweed for them. #gardens
@PrairieMoonNrsy I have had 18 monarch caterpillars on my milkweed so far this year. I wasn’t sure if they all became chrysalis or were eaten by raccoons or robins that pass through our yard? I saved one in my butterfly cage that created its chrysalis.
Each summer we look forward to the return of the iconic Monarch Butterfly. Have you seen any yet? Monarchs migrate to the US from Mexico to breed and they need Milkweeds, members of the Asclepias genus, to lay their eggs on provide food for the caterpillars.

@Skilling I am seeing double. Two huge monarch caterpillars eating the same flower buds from this huge butterfly weed plant. We have almost two dozen “cats” this size in our yard. In another two weeks they should be flying around as full fledged monarchs. Frank McKenna ITASCA, IL

As milkweed starts to sprout up, we begin to watch for signs of monarchs! Monarchs lay eggs only on milkweed, and then the caterpillars eat only milkweek. It’s such an important plant! Support MJV today to be a part of conservation! ow.ly/qwgy50zwvTA#GiveAtHomeMN

@tahmanbradley Your timeline is completely missing one main fact of president trump placing a travel ban on flights from China on January 31st and he was ridiculed for it. Please add that to your post.
@NBC2Traffic@NBC2 Can you put out a quick PSA and share with your colleagues? Day time running lights DO NOT illuminate your taillights EVER!! Most importantly at night. I barely see cars when I am driving at night and especially dark cars. Turn ON your headlights. #TURNON
