@Aliyan_smartUGC Your completely right saying the product isn't dead. It's most likely an ad issue.

@FBA_Dylan high CPM with low CTR is the tell: the creative isn't earning the click, so meta charges you more and the few who click are barely interested. that's why they stall at checkout. i'd fix the hook before the page, and 2 days is too little to call the product dead.

Day 21-22 Let the new campaign run for two days, and cut it this morning. Day 1 test of the compaign flopped and second day didn't look too much better despite the purchases. Decided to turn off the 30 minutes before writing this, metrics are not looking hopeful for either of the ads. This batch consisted of 3 ads (native longform image): -Iteration of top spender from previous campaign -1/3 ads from previous campaign that didn't get any spend -Completely new ad All ads had very high CPMs / CPCs with very low CTR. Once again, my ATC rate is very low, but EVERY single ATC leads to a checkout. Since launching this product, not a SINGLE ATC didn't lead to a purchase. Not sure what to diagnose this problem as, but this will be the last batch on this product for the next week or so while I'm on vacation. Any tips are appreciated, I'll be checking X and Discord throughout the week. 🙃

Day 25-26 Once again, no updates or work done. I’m done with vacations. Period. I feel good taking vacations…when work was actually done. Last 3 months have been so busy it’s like taking time-off from nothing. Anyway, just wanna get to work. Hope everyone is killing it anyway, stay strong 🫡

Day 23-24 Still camping and honestly missing ecom. No campaigns running, no research, nada. On the bright side it’s been 90 degrees and sunny for days so I’ve been getting my sun in that I’ve lacked since summer break started. A couple days left but playing basketball, frisbee, and swimming is only so entertaining. Only one more short trip after this in August then I’m full port ecom for the rest of 2026/2027. Hope everybody is killing it 🔥

@Anmol_szn I’d hope I’m hitting the traffic that wants this, but I guess this test makes me unsure.

@FBA_Dylan every ATC converting is wild, that's usually a targeting/hook mismatch not a page problem are the new ads even reaching people who'd want this, or just cheap traffic since the account's still fresh?

DAY 217: Almost forgot to post🫠 Was a good day. Launched some new image ads & more coming tomorrow. Really focused on learning more about my customer and why my current ads are working. Trying to not over complicate it. Need to get my organic page going. Do not have any organic content running atm which probably hurts my business. Not sure what to post tho. Anyone running a insta page for their e-commerce brand drop some sauce help a brotha out bc I have no idea what to post. Roas: 2.50

Road to 100k profit month with ecom - Day 152 Today launched a new product test and got a couple of others started/going in the system. Both stores dropsipping stores doing good but I want to focus more on the supp brand I'm starting. Making money is nice and all but it can't be the end goal in itself in the long run, it doesn't really make sense. Wish I could move faster but things just take time, especially now that it's weekend, factories/suppliers not working in China. Gotta be patient... Next week hopefully will try to get the formula sorted and order the first batch. First batch doesn't have to be perfect right away, we'll iterate and try to improve on every batch I think.

This brand Alevia is PRINTING with native ads Over 4,500 active ads right now... All targetting one singular avatar. Diabetic Seniors. The copywriting is killer, everyone should be looking at this brand for inspo on natives.

After running this brand for a while I feel like I’m still missing something to break me into the “scale” phase of the business. I already found more winning ads that put me from $100 days to $5-800 days. Obviously bumping budgets when I hit a small scale window. Not sure if my ads can handle high spend meaning my ads might not be “good” but good enough to bring me in decent revenue. I’m a noob to Ecom learning every single day. If someone very experienced with Ecom was in my position I’m fairly confident they would be hitting $2k days. I know I’m very very close and I’m super exited for the long journey ahead of me.

$0-$1mil With Ecom - Day 279 Onboarding with the new email agency today, finally back to profitability today yahoo. Crashed out and edited some UGC creator's vids. Wrote 5 diff video ad scripts today and launched 4 reiterations of native ads today. Whenever I'm free I want to try and take some really big swings with native ads, because right now I have 2 video editors to double the ouput and they're both sending me 2-3 vids every two days. So it's a bit slow, I'm ahead on the scripts, so planned a ton of new native ad ideas. Found a new product to run up with my creative strategist, starting an MRR brand together, or I'm helping her get it started and we're going 50/50 on everything. Let's see how fast we can get that up and running. God bless. Also samples for the custom supplement finally came in after ages. Going to test tomorrow.

Day 20 Spent most of the day looking through ads manager and made an adjustment to my offer. Testing a new campaign soon with the new offer to see how it performs. I was WAY too overpriced imo and compared to my competitors and there was some other “logical” changes that I made. My thought process was bigger than what I can explain right now, but currently writing this on the campsite. Brought my laptop just in case, I might be able to get some deep work in during the morning when everybody is settled. DMs are still open, feel free to reach out anytime. Hopefully everybody is killing it right now, I’m so excited to get back to it 😅

Yeah, I was studying a brand last night that had the same entry point you've been talking about, and they had over 80 ads that followed the same entry, just slightly iterated in the hook and copy. I guess it really just comes down to testing to see what works, which is where I'm at right now.

Ya most copy has a typical flow and sections that it's structured with. I don't think permutations of structural elements is a super meaningful thing to do. I think mostly test your angle, mechanism, story, and once you have something good spam leads. That's what I see brands with a lot of native ads doing, if you dig deeper into their copy the main story and body is quite similar just like different entrypoints like I was saying (cuz they have something already working)

0 - 100k Day July 8: Spent the day writing practically just one ad (5 min miniVSL). I wrote it manually and it took me 4-5 hours but it was for the new avatar so I paid a lot of attention. The scripts after this one I will use Claude to draft and then clean up, I can do them much faster. But I need this first script that I'm confident in so that Claude knows what good sounds like for this avatar. Then I onboarded an email agency. Also redid the packaging design for V2 of the product. Some of the Native ads I made are showing decent signs. I tested a new body which is definitely the winner. And I'm getting learnings on what kind of "entrypoints" into the stories are best. Will apply for next batch

Even at a small scale, I see this in my own business. My main goal is to get good at copywriting, but as soon as I stop either reading ads, taking learnings from ads that I've launched, or writing new ads, the whole thing falls apart. I come back one day and feel like a complete moron, wondering where my spark went. One word: focus.

Day 13 of Building a Real Ecom Brand I understood something that will take us to $100k/day this month. And that’s a mistake a lot of ecom bros will make when they start to scale. As we started to scale past 10k days I shifted some of my focus on backend. And not much of my time was going to the thing that actually makes the difference for my target of 100k/days I stopped trenching on ads. I stopped trenching on direct response learning. I stopped trenching on learning our avatar. I was doing all that stuff with 20% the effort compared to what I did before. And I noticed the effect very quickly. The past couple days I’d say the ads I wrote were mediocre at best. It’s like I was asked to write an essay with my left hand. It was shit. And that’s because I stopped putting in those crazy reps I was doing at 1k/days. So I made a decision from now on to protect my focus. I will only focus on things that will scale our business to the moon. Fuck small little optimisations. I’m going back to what took us to the growth we did in June. Back to the trench mode.🔒

That makes sense, thanks for the response. Do you ever seperate your native copy into "pieces" based on the purpose it serves in the copy then split test by rearranging the pieces? For example, the personal discovery is labeled something like this in the copy: ============= [Personal Discovery} ============= Then if you want to split test the structure, you switch them around generating an entirely new copy that isn't completely built from scratch. Match the puzzle pieces until they click. I've seen some other brands do this which would ingredient output efficiency but I don't know their backend metrics. It just blows me away how brands can create over 1,000+ different natives and hit just a couple angles. They gotta be structuremaxxing.

Native ads are usually stories. If you have a winning body/story/angle, then you can basically change the "lead" or the entry into the story. Creative ways to hook people in, like if your story hinges on two people meeting, you can create a ton of interesting variations on how you introduce those two characters and how they meet each other. Wild stuff, mundane stuff, etc.

For studying native ads, is there a reason to spend time looking through supplement brands running a BH offer or playing longterm LTV game? Like, how good REALLY IS their ad if they can be profitable at a 1.0 ROAS after X amount of months... I know it's part of the game, but as of right now I'm not doing MRR at all but looking to become the best at copywriting. Let me know.

Day 24 of getting to €1M / month Research is the foundation of everything. You literally have to soak up with your avatar. And I don't mean the "Hey gpt, do deep research about x problem. Find pain points, solutions they tried and desired outcomes..." Like really going deep into the mind of customer. Literally becoming in a way like your customer. Spending time with him. Like a sponge, you need to soak with his thoughts. And this is only done by... Manual research. And actually hearing your customer. The best ad ideas always comes from manual research. This is what I have seen myself. When you become like your customer, you can read your product page and actually say if it's bullshit or not. Only then you can feel it. Relatability. This is the skill you need as a marketer. You need to relate with your customer. Feel like them. Think like them. Be like them. --- - done a lot of research today, solid research docs full of quotes + insights - created one long form copy batch of ads - tomorrow focusing on writing more ads --- Thank God for everything, God bless you and see you tomorrow
